Houston is historical city of Texas in United States

Houston is the largest city in Texas and the fourth largest in the United States. It is huge, both in population and in land area. Usually, Houston politics and law are strongly subjective by real estate developers; at times, the majority of city council seats have been held by developers. It is a historical city. Houston has three areas that look like a typical downtown in a big city with high-rise buildings and, at street level, concessions to pedestrians that include shops and eating establishments. Houston is second only to New York City in corporate headquarters of Fortune 500 companies. Many of them are located downtown including some of the world's largest energy companies. There are many attractions points of Hermann Park, and the Texas Medical Center (or just "the med center"), including some of the worlds best hospitals. The Rice Village is a highly concentrated area of restaurants, bars, shopping, vibrant nightlife, and infamous traffic jams during peak hours. There are great adventure of kayaking, boating, swimming, and fishing. There are many lot of famous museum are Museum of Fine Arts Houston, Children's Museum of Houston, Houston Holocaust Museum and Contemporary Arts Museum in this city. Houston Children's Festival is the largest celebration for children in the United States. The Houston Children's Festival offers over 350 events packed into a couple of hectic days. April 4-5, 2009.
